Mixed precipitation, with snow accumulation up to one inch and ice accumulations of one tenth of an inch, are forecast for parts of northern Connecticut and northern Rhode Island.
The NWS advises commuters to plan on slippery road conditions during the morning commute, and to drive slow and take extra care.
